What We Do
We amplify and align workforce-development initiatives across five focus areas, driving innovation and continuous improvement. Currently, our priority is expanding work-based learning (WBL) in Northern Kentucky. WBL connects students and young adults with employers, opening pathways for career exploration, skill-building, and long-term success.
NKY Works functions by:
Convening business, government, and community partners to pinpoint and tackle workforce-development opportunities and challenges;
Communicating best practices to drive ongoing enhancement in the five focus areas;
Collaborating with stakeholders throughout the workforce ecosystem to promote alignment and a regional strategy for workforce development;
Connecting ideas to action, resulting in continuous advancement in the caliber and competencies of our regional workforce.
Considering gaps in the workforce development continuum of services and fostering resources to address the gaps.
